AACN and Jonas Center for Nursing Excellence Webinar Series
Three, one-hour didactic webinars addressing state and federal nursing advocacy issues will provide a unique opportunity to learn about nursing policy and how participants can become engaged in advocacy efforts. Invited speakers include nursing policy experts within professional national nursing organizations and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation offering a variety of perspectives on nursing policy and advocacy measures. All webinars will last approximately one hour.

Internship with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (A.A.C.N.) Nurse in Washington Internship
The Nurse in Washington Internship (N.I.W.I.) is an annual policy conference held in the spring on Capitol Hill. This 3-day conference provides attendees with fundamental knowledge of the workings of federal government and the advocacy process, with an opportunity to speak with state representatives on the nursing workforce's behalf. Sponsored by Nursing Organizations Alliance.
