Sharon Brigner, RN, MS

Sharon Brigner, RN, MS is currently Senior Director of Clinical/Medical Policy at PhRMA. In that role, she leads the clinical policy section and provides support for lobbying and communications efforts for the industry. Sharon taught the 5-day policy course as part of George Mason University’s “Washington Health Policy Institute,” and her enthusiastic teaching style has inspired countless nurses across the country to become stronger patient and nurse advocates. Previous to her current position, Sharon lobbied for seniors on issues such as Medicare and social security.
